Ten of Wands

A man walks with ten Wands, clearly more than he can properly carry; the burden is too much for him as he carries on. His back is bent and he appears exhausted. The Wands obscure his view. He can’t readily see where he’s going, so in addition to carrying a burden more than he can bear, he isn’t able to see his way.

There is a village in the background, perhaps too far for him to make it with his burden.

It may be that the man has taken on an extra burden temporarily, in order to accomplish an important and urgent task. It may be that he has a habit of taking on too much – a “workaholic” so to speak. By itself it is difficult to say; the meaning might become clearer in the context of other cards.
