Queen of Wands

A Queen is seated on her throne, facing forward, gazing somewhat to our right. She holds a Wand in her right hand; in her left is a sunflower. A cat reposes in front of the throne. The throne has lions carved into it, and a lion-themed decoration on the back of the throne. The back also shows sunflowers. Behind her there are mountains or pyramids; no water can be seen.

This shows a woman who has confidence in herself, who is brave, fiery, passionate. She is active and alert, the image of vitality and positive energy.

Some authors suggest that the cat – which is black – stands for the Queen’s Shadow self – that despite being bright and fiery, she also is in touch with her darker self. It may hint that the Queen can also be intuitive and empathic.

However, the Queen might also sometimes be impatient, quick to anger, hot-headed, impulsive. This is a trait common among the Wands – whose element is Fire. She might even occasionally become domineering.

Keywords: Powerful, active woman. Fiery temperament.
